Arkansas Issuing Statewide Mask Mandate, Violating Is Misdemeanor Crime

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announced he would issue a face mask mandate in Arkansas which would go into effect starting Monday, July 20th, during a press conference on Thursday according to nwahomepage.com.

During the press conference the Governor of Arkansas said "I have listened to the doctors and nurses that are on the front lines of this fight against COVID-19, and they ask the public to do more."

The mayor of Tulsa signed a face mask ordinance on Thursday after the city council voted 7-2 on Wednesday in favor of the order.

There is currently no face mask order for Oklahoma City.
