North West is flexing her rapping skills in a completely different language on her brand-new collaboration with FKA Twigs.
On Friday, January 24, the UK-born singer released her third album EUSEXUA via Atlantic Records. Her first full-length album in three years only holds two collaborations with EDM artist Koreless and the 11-year-old daughter of Ye and Kim Kardashian. On their song "Childlike Things," North appears midway through and drops her verse in Japanese. According to Genius, the budding artist says, "Hello My name is North-chan/From California to Tokyo/Jesus, the King/Praise the Lord/Jesus is the one and only true God (You need to know)."
North West is quickly making an impact on the music industry. She also opened up about her aspirations of becoming a rapper. A few months later, she announced plans to release her debut album, Elementary School Dropout. Last year, she made her official debut on "Talking" off her dad and Ty Dolla $ign's joint album VULTURES and directed the song's official music video. North and Ye teamed up again in November for the "BOMB" music video from ¥$'s VULTURES 2 album. The Chicago legend's young daughter has been a major source of inspiration for him in the studio.
"This little girl made me love music again," Ye wrote in an Instagram post last week. "She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY."
FKA Twigs' new album is out now. Look out for more from Northie coming soon.
