Man, this candid, raw, and real, and I respect him for being upfront about it. He's not making excuses, he's owning it, he's saying he was wrong, and he's grown from it.
I think that's what people forget most these days -- people learn and grow by making mistakes, and it's the fact they learn and grow that should be commended. It should only be trashed when they clearly don't realize they've made mistakes or haven't learned from them.
