Channing Tatum is the latest star to cut ties with The Weinstein Co. and is dropping all upcoming movie projects with them. The next movie project he was going to do, ironically, was about sexual assault.
Although they fired Harvey Weinstein, Tatum still didn't second guess to cut ties with Weinstein's old company.
“While we will no longer develop it or anything else that is property of TWC, we are reminded of its powerful message of healing in the wake of tragedy." said Tatum in the Instagram post below.
Tatum was scheduled to star in the book adaptation of Matthew Quick's 2013 novel, "Forgive Me, Leonard Peacock". It has since stopped production since Tatum dropped out.
Check out the video as well. Do you think he did the right thing of dropping out?
