Maybe it's possible McDonald's likes how legit and culturally diverse this poster is, so they decided to keep it up? (Or maybe they're still completely clueless lol).
After noticing there wasn't a lot of Asian-American representation in the promo posters around a McDonald's in Houston, TX, a student created a fake promo poster of he and his friend (both Filipino-Americans) and hung it up on an empty wall in the restaurant.
After 50 days, it's STILL there. Honestly, it looks so legit that I don't think there's any reason it should be taken down! (Also, that dude may have a serious future in graphic design).
A Filipino American student in Houston decided to put his own ad up on a @McDonalds wall missing Asian American faces. Weeks later, the poster this still up! Watch how it happened: https://t.co/6y7wxphufo #RepresentationMatters pic.twitter.com/kn7EuGe24w— AAJC (@AAAJ_AAJC) September 4, 2018
