As someone who was bullied terribly in 7th grade (thankfully, it was really only that one year, but holy crap was it hell), I personally LOVE this possible law. Basically, there's a bill being proposed in Pennsylvania that would give a three strikes rule when it comes to bullying:
Strike 1: Parents are informed by the school how the bullying situation was handled.
Strike 2: Parents would have to take a class on bullying and attend a bullying resolution conference.
Strike 3: Parents would be fined $500.
Honestly, I LOVE it because it FORCES the parents to be way more involved with their children and be involved in the consequences of bullying. The ONE thing I would add, though, is the child who is bullying should ALSO have to take a bullying class and attend the conference.
How do YOU see it, though?
