Apparently when Ivanka Trump made an unannounced visit to Norwalk Early College Academy in Norwalk, CT on Monday, some parents were beyond upset that they weren't notified ahead of time, and actually pulled their children out of class. They took it further saying that they felt like they should've been told about Ivanka's trip to the school so they could decide whether or not their kids attended that day or not.
Seriously? The daughter of the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES visits a school and parents are MAD? I don't care who the President is or how you feel about him -- George W., Obama, Trump -- that's a RARE opportunity for students, and whether people like it or not, Ivanka/the Trump family is successful. That's a really good life/learning experience. Not to mention, high school kids are old enough to have developed their own brains/thoughts, so if ANYONE should decide if they want to attend or not, it's the STUDENTS.
