Normally, you think of high school reunions being a total blast and reeking of all the awesome, right? Well, it did for these 8 Argentinians who were celebrating the 30th anniversary of graduating from school in NYC -- until the deadliest terror attack since 9/11 happened in lower Manhattan. An Uber drive drove a truck into a crowd of people, killing 8 (5 of which were part of the high school reunion crew, who were on a bike ride at the time), and injuring about 18.
The scumbag, whose name doesn't deserve to be mentioned in this blog post, said he did it for ISIS. Naturally, President Trump is calling for "extreme vetting" following the attack. It's quite possible we're living in the most intense political era in the history of the US, so whatever happens from here, either way, thoughts and prayers out to the victims, their families, and all who were injured and affected.
