Honestly, big ups to the Disney Channel. They KNOW they have a ton of youngsters that follow all of their shows (hell, if Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens were still on, you KNOW your boy would still be watching). So while they teach tons of life lessons in their shows to reach the tweens, they're finally going to tackle one for the first time -- coming out.
In the upcoming season of Andi Mack, a key character will being to come to terms with his sexuality, and begin the process of coming out. The show will follow it the whole way, which will hopefully open the younger generations eyes to the journey of that for someone, and maybe eliminate some of the stupid, senseless hate that exists now, for future generations.
You the real MVP, Disney.
