Mega Millions Costs More Now, But Can It Make You Richer?

I remember working at uncle's convenience store when I was growing up, and Mega Millions first came out. I was a little nugget. A naive nugget, because I assume it was just a Massachusetts game -- clearly, it's national. You're a dummy, Jadd.

Regardless, starting this Saturday, Oct 28, the ticket price to pay Mega Millions will increase from $1 to $2. Now, while that reeks of sucktitude for some, that also means the payouts increase! Starting jackpot now for Mega Millions is $15 mil -- BUT, with the new price, the starting price will be $40 mil! PLUS there's a special $3 game you can play called "Just The Jackpot" where you basically get 2 tickets for just over the price of 1, but like the name says, you'll only win the jackpot, none of the ancillary prizes offered with the other number combos.

Find out more about the new, improved odds of winning, and more, below!
