Yesterday, a bunch of NFL players (past and present), owners, and even that scumbag commish Roger Goodell had a 3 1/2 hour meeting to discuss a bunch of social issues, including the whole debate about kneeling during the anthem.
And after the meeting -- basically, nothing is changing. Some players that commented said it's nothing that will happen overnight as far as changes go, but the conversations about it were also productive.
So, really, nothing has changed. Some people still think the players and the coaches and owners that support their players to kneel during the anthem as they see fit are jackholes, and some people, whether they disagree or not, understand it's their First Amendment right to free speech.
