I feel like most people are over Katy Perry now. NO ONE liked her hosting the MTV VMAs (to the point that both Adam Levine AND his wife Behati Prinsloo basically tweeted out that the awards sucked), her last two songs "Bon Appetit" and "Swish Swish" didn't have much success, and people just don't seem to be a fan of the new look/political view she keeps rocking.
And now, she's being blamed for the collapse of an entire football program back in 2014. That year, the Oklahoma Sooners started off the year 4-0 and were looking like a championship team, when Katy Perry appeared on College Gameday, picked the Sooners to beat TCU, then admitted she had a crush on then-Sooners QB Trevor Knight.
Right after that, Oklahoma went to lose to TCU, and finished the season (that they started undefeated) under .500. And since the Sooners are currently 3-0 to start this season, current QB Baker Mayfield was asked about a comparison between this season and the '14 season -- and his response was EPIC.
The best part? He got a follow-up question about being on #TeamTayTay, and he fielded it like a CHAMP.
Mayfield 2020, please.
