It's been a week for ESPN reporter Jemele Hill, who you may recognize from "SportsCenter." Back on Monday, Jemele decided to let her voice be heard on Twitter (ya know, like any other person ever) and basically called President Trump a "white supremacist" and "bigot."
Now, as someone who was hoping Trump would work out, have been extremely disappointed, so talks smack to him on Twitter when he says something stupid, it's her right and freedom of speech to say what she thinks/feels. Granted, some would call it libel, but still. Regardless, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders caught wind of it, and immediately hit up ESPN, saying that it was a fire-able offense.
Not only was she basically forced to apologize on Twitter, but ESPN followed up by TRYING TO REMOVE HER FROM THE AIR.
Do you think ESPN is in the wrong, or Jemele is in the wrong? Discuss.
