HUGE win for Native Americans in Los Angeles, as a 14-1 vote (seriously, who is the ONE jackhole?) just passed to rename "Columbus Day" to "Indigenous People's Day" in LA. Considering there's a heavy population of Native Americans in LA, and ya know, Christopher Columbus basically stole their land, it makes sense that the vote was up for debate and passed.
Do you think other areas of the country will start following suit and make the switch to Indigenous People's Day?
